  • Create and develop customised, innovative designs.
  • Carry out Electrical Engineering design, analysis, testing & validation.
  • Plan and lead design projects allocated to you.
  • Prepare detailed cost estimates ensuring designs to budget.
  • Combining new product design with existing product amendments.
  • Prepare, check, and approve associated engineering documents in accordance with engineering group policy, (such as drawings, technical illustrations, manuals, reports, calculations, compliance documentation and technical files)
  • Participate in internal design review meetings.
  • Attend and participate in client meetings to obtain specifications.
  • Ensure design meet technical requirements set out.
  • Lead test programs and factory acceptance tests to validate designs.
  • Ensure Engineering Change procedures are implemented thoroughly.
  • Be aware of developments in technology latest to utilise internally.
BACKGROUND: Senior Electrical Design Engineer
  • BEng (Hons) in Electrical Engineering (Or similar)
  • Strong electrical or electro-mechanical system design background.
  • Confidence working in multidisciplinary teams.
  • Working knowledge of Eplan or AutoCAD Electrical
