Job Description Role: Senior Service Charge Accountant
Job Sector: Finance
Hours: Monday to Friday: 9am - 5pm (35 hours per week)
As Senior Service Charge Accountant, you will contribute to our vision of being the you will contribute to our vision of being the UK's leading property manager, as recognised by our colleagues, customers and partners:
Delivering accurate financial statements and records to our customers
Ensuring timely and accurate Estate Finances
Supporting operations in communicating and understanding service charge
This role reports to the Scheme Accounts Team Leader and has no direct reports.
Accurate and timely preparation and distribution of Service Charge accounts
Liaise effectively with auditors to deliver a smooth audit process and provide the best possible outcome for our customers and our clients
Contribute positively and effectively to the team through creative ideas, tested processes or feedback from colleagues/external parties
Supporting our operations team where necessary
Monthly balance sheet analysis
Cross development analysis
Some travel to developments may be required in this role
Purchase Ledger, Billing and other finance teams
Work towards a professional qualification (AAT / ACCA) would be an advantage but not essential.
