As our sole Accountant, you will take ownership of the entire accounting function to support the company’s financial goals and investment plan on our path to Series B and beyond. You will play your part in creating repeatable, scalable processes, and predictability in the finance function.
Production of the monthly management accounts, including the accruals and prepayment schedules and daily bookkeeping.
Work closely with leadership and finance team to align company objectives with the financial plan. Establish evaluation methods to assess return on investment across the business.
Collaborating your Financial Controller colleague with audit of the financial statements.
Running and paying out monthly payroll for UK PAYE employees and subcontractors.
Assisting with day-to-day banking tasks, such as paying invoices and matching receipts to sales invoices on our sales platform to mark as received.
Updates to aged receivable listing and monthly reconciliation of aged receivables report (payables is maintained within Xero).
ACA or ACCA recently qualified (We’re open to hearing from you if you’re part-qualified).
Strong understanding of accounting and financial reporting principles and practices.
Previous experience in a B2B SaaS organisation, in the finance or operations department.
Competent user of Xero (Accounting software).
A passion and curiosity for staying updated on industry trends and emerging financial tech stack.
Experience with Mosaic (Finance software) would be a big plus
