Connect Plus services have an exciting opportunity to be part of the team that manages and improves one of the busiest motorways in Europe - the M25.

We are looking for a Electronics Maintenance Technician (level 3) to join our fantastic team to work in Dartford.

Holidays - 24 shifts to begin with, rising to 28 after 5 years. With 4 on 4 off, you only need to book 4 shifts leave to get 12 days holiday

Training and PPE provided

To be conversant with Plant Monitoring and Control Systems, including SCADA, PLCs, I/O, networking etc.

To be conversant with a range of electronic / technology equipment including CCTV, incident detection, radio rebroadcast, telephone networks, fire alarm systems, air monitoring etc. Carry out any work of a manual, semi-skilled or skilled nature of any type of trade description (including “out of trade” work) under the instructions of the Shift Manager

Attend incidents and work safely in accordance with policies to facilitate the early clear up of hazard/incident.

Good customer service skills

Recognised Electronic or Technology Qualifications or Apprenticeship

Card holder (or willing to undertake training) in (but not limited to) :

Confined spaces

CSCS Safety Card

Experience of routine maintenance and repairs to a wide range of electronics / technology equipment

Practical maintenance or servicing experience with a wide knowledge of computer / logic control systems

Ability to carry out installation work to current legislation / standards.

Continually searches for ways to add value and take performance to the next level.

Actively collects customer information and uses it to improve services and solutions. Manages the experience of customers to ensure positive relationships are established and maintained.

CPS is a joint Venture project with Balfour Beatty, Atkins, and Egis. The M25 is the busiest section of motorway in Europe and requires careful and efficient planning of work in order to deliver over £100m of annual investment in the highway infrastructure each year, in addition to planned and reactive maintenance activity.
