Gen25 is looking for an experienced Technical Salesforce Consultant for our London office. Gen25 was the first Salesforce consulting partner in the Netherlands, so we have quite some experience. This means you can utilise your talent for an amazing group of clients. Our headquarters are in Amsterdam and we opened our London office in 2020.

As a Technical Consultant specialising in Salesforce, you will play a key role in designing, implementing, and maintaining Salesforce solutions for our clients. Your primary responsibility will be to understand the unique business requirements of our clients and leverage your technical expertise to deliver effective and scalable solutions on the Salesforce platform. This role requires a deep understanding of Salesforce architecture, configuration, and customisation capabilities.

Responsibilities

Client Engagement

  • Collaborate with clients to understand their business needs and objectives.
  • Conduct workshops and gather requirements to design tailored Salesforce solutions.

Solution Design

  • Develop and document comprehensive technical designs based on businessrequirements.
  • Create data models, process flows, and system integrations to ensure a cohesive andefficient solution.

Configuration and Customisation

  • Configure Salesforce to meet client needs using declarative features such as workflows,process builder, and validation rules.
  • Customise Salesforce applications using Apex, Visualforce, Lightning components, andother programming languages.

Integration

  • Design and implement integrations between Salesforce and other systems using APIs andmiddleware.
  • Ensure data consistency and accuracy across integrated platforms.

Quality Assurance

  • Conduct thorough testing of Salesforce configurations and customisations to ensure the quality and reliability of the solution.
  • Address and resolve any issues identified during testing.

Training and Support

  • Provide training sessions for end-users and administrators to maximise the adoption andutilisation of Salesforce.
  • Offer ongoing support and troubleshooting for Salesforce-related issues.

Best Practices and Innovation

  • Stay updated on the latest Salesforce features and releases.
  • Recommend best practices and innovative solutions to enhance client Salesforceenvironments.

Documentation

  • Maintain comprehensive documentation of solutions, configurations, and customisations.
  • Create user guides and technical documentation for clients and internal teams.
  • Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field preferred
  • Salesforce certifications (e.g., Salesforce Certified Platform Developer, Salesforce Certified Administrator, Platform App Builder) are highly desirable.
  • 3-5 years proven experience as a Salesforce Developer or Technical Consultant.
  • Proficiency in Apex, Visualforce, Lightning components, and Salesforce declarative capabilities.
  • Strong understanding of Salesforce architecture, data model, and security model.
  • Experience with Salesforce integrations using REST/SOAP APIs, middleware, and third-party tools.
  • Excellent problem-solving and communication skills.
  • Ability to work collaboratively in a team environment.
  • Strong analytical skills and attention to detail.
