Due to continued growth we have a fantastic opportunity for an AWS Technical Consultant to join our Cloud Solutions team. Our Technical Consultants routinely provide post-sales technical consultancy, undertake delivery and implementation engagements, as well as providing pre-sales qualification and design to consultancy engagements. A typical AWS Technical Consultant will have had five or more years’ experience in a technical consulting type role, with an excellent understanding and experience of delivering AWS centric solutions.

**Responsibilities**
Solution Pre-Sales and Scoping
- Lead with qualification of designs and opportunities
- Lead and present at customer opportunities and workshop sessions
- Takes responsibility for understanding client requirements, collecting data, delivering analysis and problem resolution
- Identifies, evaluates and recommends options, implementing if required
- Collaborates with, and facilitates stakeholder groups, as part of formal or informal consultancy agreements
- Seeks to fully address client needs, enhancing the capabilities and effectiveness of client personnel, by ensuring that proposed solutions are properly understood and appropriately exploited
- Lead and contribute to Statement of Works

Service Delivery
- Undertake individual consultancy assignments or work on a project as part of a larger team analysing customer requirements, gathering and analysing data and recommending solutions
- Technically manage the design and implementation of solutions, with the exception of those which are high risk/large scale
- Ensure consultancy assignments are undertaken consistently and with quality
- Highlight technical risks so that any Comms-care exposure to commercial loss can be minimised
- Produce and update assignment documentation as required
- Ensure that hand over to relevant support organisation is successfully completed
- Provide technical support as requested, for internal and external customers

- Platform or Systems Engineering/Administration
- Operations in hybrid cloud environment
- Big Data or Data Analytics
