School Business Manager

Job Type: Full-time
We are seeking a School Business Manager to join our leadership team. This role is integral to the management of the school’s business operations, including finance, human resources, and premises management. The successful candidate will be a key member of the Senior Leadership Team and will lead and represent support staff.
Oversee finance and business operations, ensuring effective management of school funds and financial planning.
Manage human resources, including staff recruitment, retention, and professional development.
Ensure compliance with safeguarding procedures and contribute to the safety and security of the school environment.
Oversee contract management and liaise with external contractors and service providers.
Manage school assets and resources efficiently.
Ensure compliance with policies and procedures, updating them as necessary.
Act as a member of the Senior Leadership Team, contributing to strategic planning and decision-making.
Lead and represent support staff, fostering a collaborative and supportive work culture.
Provide direct line management to support staff, ensuring clear communication and effective team performance.
Proven experience in business management, preferably within an educational setting.
Excellent financial acumen and experience managing budgets.
Competence in policy and procedure compliance.
Competitive salary within Grade 8 to Grade 10 scale.
