Senior Claims Technician (Commercial Property)
Location – Remote with occasional travel to Suffolk MERJE is looking for a Senior Claims Technician to join a leading Insurance company in the UK. As a Senior Claims Technician, you will be responsible for handling complex Property claims, such as fire or flood. This is a technical role that requires extensive experience in handling high-value and complex commercial property claims, with a settlement of at least £500k. The Role As a Senior Claims Technician, you will be responsible for proactively managing a portfolio of claims with a potential of £500K+ from notification through to settlement. You will deliver excellent customer service whilst maintaining accurate estimating and controlling indemnity spend. You will also share your knowledge and support the development of others in your team and in the wider claims community. Key Responsibilities of the Senior Claims Technician: - Pro-active management of a portfolio of claims with a potential of £500K+ from notification through to settlement.- Delivering excellent customer service whilst maintaining accurate estimating and controlling indemnity spend.- Sharing your knowledge and supporting the development of others in your team and in the wider claims community.- Building excellent working relationships with Loss Adjusters and other suppliers.- Required knowledge and experience for the Senior Claims Technician role: - Extensive experience in handling high-value and complex commercial property claims, with a settlement of at least £500k.- Able to deliver exceptional service to your customers.- In applying for this role, you may be registered on our database so we can contact you about suitable opportunities in future.
