CPU Research Scientist

We are currently working with an industry-leading technology company looking for an experienced CPU research scientist to join their growing Cambridge-based team.

If successful your responsibilities would include:

  • Researching novel microarchitecture optimisation techniques
  • Prototyping of micro-optimisations using GEM5
  • Expertise in gathering, analysing and presenting the results of mobile system profiling
  • Analysis of state-of-the-art technologies for improving mobile system energy efficiency.
  • Assisting in publishing papers within top-tier conferences.

Your Career to date experience will include:

  • Masters/PhD in Computer Science/Engineering/Physics or similar
  • Deep knowledge of microarchitecture and memory systems
  • Knowledge of the GEM5 simulation framework
  • Expertise in - C, C++, Python or similar scripting languages
  • Knowledge of Android / Linux Kernel
  • Experience in ARMv8/ARMv9
