Hybrid Role, Office in Hertford (SG13 7GX) (Candidate must live within 45 minutes)

4 days in HQ, Wednesdays Remote.

Purpose of Role

This brand new role is perfect for an exceptional creative writer with a passion for interiors and a knack for engaging content. You will own the tone of voice throughout the business, creating compelling copy that enhances our brand presence and drives our growth. Reporting to the Head of Marketing, you will work independently while collaborating closely with our Product, Marketing and Ecommerce teams. Your mission is to not only craft SEO-friendly content for various platforms but also engage our community, give our customers value, and make as much noise as possible through PR.

Responsibilities:

  • Maintain the brand's tone of voice across all communication channels.
  • Write engaging copy including blogs, articles, style guides, and email copy.
  • Create SEO-friendly copy for the website to improve search engine rankings.
  • Produce tailored content for specific media, including press releases, SEO-friendly blogs, magazine features, and social media posts.
  • Collaborate with the Product, Marketing and Ecommerce teams to align content strategies with overall marketing goals.
  • Manage and execute PR campaigns to enhance brand visibility and reputation.
  • Host press and Influencer events to enhance brand visibility and reputation
  • Engage with our community through value-driven content that resonates with customers.
  • Monitor and analyse content performance, making data-driven adjustments to improve effectiveness.
  • Stay current with industry trends and best practices in content creation and SEO.
  • Be creative and able to think outside the box when it comes to content ideas and PR Campaigns.
  • Be confident in pitching story ideas to journalists and editors.

  • Proven experience in PR and content writing.
  • Exceptional creative writing skills with a strong portfolio.
  • A love for interiors and a keen eye for design trends.
  • Strong understanding of SEO principles and best practices.
  • Exceptional attention to detail and a commitment to high-quality output.
  • Ability to work independently and collaboratively within cross-functional teams.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Strategic thinking and problem-solving abilities.
