Senior PR & Content Executive

Sofa Club is rapidly establishing itself as a leading sofa brand in the UK and is currently expanding its team. An exciting opportunity is available for a Senior PR & Content Executive to join the company.

Hybrid Role, Office in Hertford (SG13 7GX)(Candidates must reside within a 45-minute commute)

4 days in HQ, Wednesdays Remote.

Purpose of Role

This exciting new position is ideal for a talented creative writer with a passion for interiors and a talent for creating engaging content. You will be responsible for maintaining the brand's tone of voice by producing compelling copy that elevates our brand presence and fuels our growth. Reporting to the Head of Marketing, you will have the autonomy to work independently while closely collaborating with our Product, Marketing, and E-commerce teams. Your mission is not only to craft SEO-friendly content for various platforms but also to deeply engage our community, deliver value to our customers, and generate significant buzz through PR activities.

Responsibilities:

  • Maintain consistency in the brand's tone of voice across all communication channels.
  • Create captivating content such as blogs, articles, style guides, and email copy.
  • Develop SEO-friendly website content to enhance search engine rankings.
  • Generate tailored content for specific media outlets including press releases, SEO-optimized blogs, magazine features, and social media posts.
  • Collaborate with the Product, Marketing, and E-commerce teams to align content strategies with overall marketing objectives.
  • Conduct and execute PR campaigns to boost brand visibility and reputation.
  • Organize press and Influencer events to increase brand exposure and reputation.
  • Engage with our community through value-driven content that resonates with our customers.
  • Analyze and monitor content performance, implementing data-driven adjustments to enhance effectiveness.
  • Stay updated on industry trends and best practices in content creation and SEO.
  • Present creative content ideas and PR campaigns that break the mold.
  • Demonstrate confidence in pitching story concepts to journalists and editors.
