United Kingdom SWANAGE PIER TRUST(THE) Full time €45,000

Percival are excited to be working with Swanage Pier Trust to help them recruit for a newly created Fundraising Manager to join their growing team.

Swanage Pier Trust is a charity focused on preserving and maintaining the grade 2 listed Pier at the gateway to the Jurassic Coast World Heritage Site. With over 125,000 visitors each year, fundraising to preserve the Pier is instrumental. This role has been created to maximise these opportunities by working closely with the CEO on the organisation's strategy development

Title: Fundraising Manager

Salary: £45,000 per annum

Working Pattern: Full Time

Contract Type: Permanent

Responsible for: Fundraising Administrator

Location: Hybrid, Swanage, Dorset (flexible)

You will be responsible for creating a range of exciting new fundraising initiatives and donor opportunities across a range of income streams. The focus will be on maximising new income through engaging new business supporters and individuals, developing a network of fundraising volunteers to assist in the process. You will also be responsible for the stewardship of long-term supporters.

The successful applicant will have:

  • Demonstrable experience developing new fundraising pipelines; across either/or Trusts, Corporate Partnerships, Individual Giving, Philanthropy, Statutory, Legacy etc.
  • Prior experience using a fundraising database
  • Experience writing successful fundraising proposals, bids and reports
  • Hit and exceeded financial and non-financial fundraising targets
  • Show a commitment to the development of Swanage Pier and heritage sites.
  • Line management experience (desirable)
