Our client is a leading Managed Service Provider (MSP) based in Manchester, delivering innovative IT solutions to businesses across various industries. We are seeking a talented Helpdesk Support Technician to join our client's team in Manchester. The successful candidate must come from an MSP background and they will play a key role in providing technical support to our diverse client base, resolving IT issues efficiently, and ensuring smooth operation of IT systems.
Provide first-line technical support to clients via phone, email, and remote assistance tools.
Troubleshoot and resolve hardware and software issues, including desktops, laptops, printers, and mobile devices.
Diagnose and resolve network connectivity problems, Wi-Fi issues, and email configuration.
Perform system administration tasks, including user account management and software installations.
Document support activities, solutions provided, and troubleshooting steps for future reference.
Must have proven experience in a similar helpdesk support role, within an MSP environment.
Strong technical knowledge of Windows operating systems, Microsoft Office Suite, and basic networking concepts.
Customer-focused mindset with a passion for delivering high-quality support services.
Relevant certifications such as CompTIA A+, Microsoft Certified Professional (MCP), or equivalent, would be advantageous.
