They need support in their finance team to help them tackle the increase in workload and enable their senior finance leaders to focus more time on strategic growth, fundraising plans and more.

They are looking for support from an experienced Assistant Accountant on a part time basis for 1 year, to take control of the routine transactional finance responsibilities.

Processing Accounts Payable and Receivable transactions
Completing daily, monthly, quarterly and yearly reconciliations
Supporting with the preparation of management accounts
Preparing financial reports using Sage 200
Manage fixed asset register
Providing support to the wider finance team, Finance Manager and Head of Finance
It goes without saying that you will need to be enthusiastic about being a part of this incredible charity and take pride in knowing that with your support in this role, it is helping them achieve great things.

This role is initially offered as a fixed term contract for 12 months. Hybrid working is available (if required) and you will be expected to work at least 1 of 3 days in the office.
