Summary
As a Market Intelligence Analyst at Cognism, you will play a pivotal role in driving data-informed decision-making by conducting in-depth research and analysis to uncover key market trends, competitor insights, and industry developments. Your expertise will shape our competitive strategy and enable us to maintain a leading position in the market.
Responsibilities
Research & Analysis:
Lead comprehensive research projects to gather market intelligence, competitive analysis, and industry insights.
Conduct thorough PESTLE & SWOT analyses to identify potential risks, opportunities, and strategic recommendations.
Research and analyse competitive landscapes, tracking industry developments and competitor activities.
Collaborate with internal stakeholders to define research objectives and develop actionable research plans.
Partner with external agencies or consultants, as needed, to leverage specialized expertise and resources.
Actionable Insights & Recommendations
Deliver insightful reports and presentations that highlight key findings, competitive positioning, and actionable recommendations.
Collaborate with cross-functional teams (sales, marketing, product) to share insights and inform decision-making.
Develop market segmentation strategies, customer personas, and value propositions based on research insights.
Competitive Strategy & Enablement
Work closely with the sales team to optimize competitive deliverables, including battlecards, differentiator statements, and comparison templates.
Create and implement a comprehensive competitive content communication and adoption plan across departments.
Monitor industry trends, regulatory changes, and technological advancements to identify potential risks and opportunities.
Collaboration
Support cross-functional teams in conducting customer research to gather feedback and understand market needs.
Foster strong relationships with internal and external stakeholders to ensure effective collaboration and knowledge sharing.
Qualifications
Education: Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Business Administration, Economics, or a related field.
Experience: B2B experience in a similar role desirable
Skills
Strong analytical and research skills, with the ability to gather, analyse, and interpret complex data.
Excellent communication and presentation skills, both written and verbal.
Proficiency in market research tools and techniques.
Ability to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams.
Self-motivated and proactive, with a strong work ethic.
Bonus Points
Experience in the B2B SaaS industry.
Strong understanding of sales and marketing principles.
