Hourly Rate (37 hours per week) Inside IR35 Onsite (Hertford) Our client is currently looking to Data Protection Officer to join them on a 3-month contract. This Data Protection Officer role will be working onsite 5 days a week. Please note that this contract is Inside of IR35 and will have to be set-up as Umbrella/PAYE. The ideal candidate will have experience of dealing with Data Protection support and guidance to internal service areas to review and approve Data Protection impact assessments. Main Duties- To process Data protection Subject Access request.
- To liaise with customers in relation to their Subject Access requests
- To provide Data Protection support and guidance to internal service areas
- To review and approve Data Protection impact assessments
- To investigate Data Protection breaches
- The ideal candidate will have experience of dealing with very complex Subject Access request within a Local Authority.
- Previous experience of reviewing and approving Data Sharing agreements.
- Data Protection Practitioner qualification - not essential but desirable
- Knowledge of Microsoft Word, excel and outlook.
- Proficient in the use of Adobe PDF - although training will be given
