About the Role
A friendly and enthusiastic person is required to ensure the smooth flow of the food & beverage outlets. Reporting into the F&B Manager and working closely with the Asst F&B Manager and other supervisors, you will be required to assist with and ensure the smooth and efficient running of ALL F&B outlets. The management of back of house areas will also be required to ensure all areas are always clean and presentable. The role is based at Hotel Hastings.
Responsibilities & Duties:
- Daily management of food and beverage service outlets whilst on duty, enforcing company policies such as uniform etc.
- Setting up conference and event rooms to required standards to ensure that you have full product knowledge of all menu items and hotel facilities and services.
- Maintaining brand standards and a high standard of service in the conference & banqueting department ensuring that all guest expectations are exceeded.
- Promoting sales and up-sell at all times for both food and beverage items.
- Ensuring that all daily operations and cleaning tasks are carried out each day.
- Carrying out other duties as may be required to ensure the hotel operation is properly maintained to provide total guest satisfaction.
- Training new and current Team Members.
