The Security Manager will be responsible for overseeing all aspects of security operations within the company. This role requires a dynamic, detail-oriented professional with extensive security management experience. The Security Manager will responsible for the following key duties:
Key Responsibilities:
# Security Strategy: Develop and implement security policies, procedures, and strategies to safeguard the company's assets, employees, and customers.
# Team Leadership: Supervise and manage the security team, ensuring effective communication, training, and performance evaluations.
# Threat Assessment: Conduct security risk assessments and establish threat mitigation plans.
# Crisis Management: Develop and execute crisis management and response protocols to address emergency situations effectively.
# Access Control: Manage access control systems, monitor entry and exit points, and ensure a secure environment.
# Incident Reporting: Oversee incident reporting and investigation procedures, ensuring proper documentation and resolution.
# Security Technology: Stay updated on the latest security technologies and implement them as needed.
# Vendor Management: Collaborate with security service providers and vendors to ensure effective security measures.
# Budget Management: Prepare and manage the security budget efficiently, ensuring cost-effective security solutions.
# Compliance: Ensure compliance with all relevant laws, regulations, and industry standards.

Requirements: The ideal candidate for the position of Security Manager should possess the following qualifications and skills:
# Educational Qualifications: A bachelor's degree in a related field, such as security management, criminal justice, or a relevant discipline. Advanced certifications in security management are a plus.
# Professional Experience: A minimum of 1 year of experience in security management, with a proven track record of successfully managing security operations.
# Leadership Skills: Strong leadership and management skills to lead and motivate a security team.
# Analytical Skills: The ability to assess security risks, devise strategic plans, and make critical decisions.
# Communication Skills: Excellent written and verbal communication skills for reports, presentations, and liaising with internal and external stakeholders.
# Technology Proficiency: Familiarity with security technology, surveillance systems, and access control systems.
# Regulatory Knowledge: Thorough knowledge of UK security regulations and industry best practices.
# Crisis Management: Proficiency in crisis management and the ability to remain calm and make quick decisions in high-stress situations.
# Problem-Solving: Strong problem-solving skills to address security challenges effectively.
# Flexibility: Willingness to work outside regular business hours and respond to security incidents as necessary.
