Join Our Team as a Senior Engineer – Electrical Engineering (Power) Are you ready to take your engineering career to the next level? We are looking for a passionate and skilled Senior Engineer to join our team in Barrow-in-Furness . This hybrid role offers the flexibility of working from home while requiring a minimum of three days on-site, depending on business needs. What You’ll Be Doing As a vital member of our team, you will: Assist the Power and Distribution Manager in ensuring compliance with all Nuclear Safety Functional Requirements (NSFRs). Ensure adherence to SIL (Safety Integrity Level) classifications for allocated PBSs (Product Breakdown Structure). Engage with stakeholders and participate in UK/US technical forums to facilitate knowledge transfer across the NSRP (Nuclear Steam Raising Plant). Ensure that the Dreadnought is designed according to the End User Requirements set by the Defence Nuclear Organisation. Conduct build surveillance activities on the platform in collaboration with the Joint Build Assurance working group. Provide technical reviews and compliance statements for all systems under the electrical power team's ownership. Enjoy the opportunity to travel to various supplier sites as part of your role. Your Skills and Experiences We are looking for candidates who possess: A BEng Degree in Electrical/Electronic Engineering. Knowledge and demonstrated experience with IT systems. An understanding of Low Voltage (LV) systems. CEng/IEng status or working towards it. Familiarity with electrical conversion equipment. Why Join Us?
