Leverage Shares is a fast-growing Exchange Traded Products (ETP) provider, focused on delivering innovative financial products. Our first range of single stock ETPs was listed on London Stock Exchange in December 2017. We have since expanded our footprint, listing new products across multiple exchanges, including London Stock Exchange, Euronext and XETRA.
Responsibilities
- Drafting, reviewing, and negotiating contracts, agreements, and legal documents
- Helping expand and manage legal matters related to the European business;
- Assessing legal risks and providing recommendations and alternative mitigating resolutions to the organization;
- Reviewing and negotiation of agreements with minimal oversight;
- Independently handle complex issues with minimal supervision
- Staying updated on changes in laws and regulations that may impact the company’s operations
- Assisting in other legal matters, as required;
Requirements
- Irish or English qualified lawyer with a minimum of 3-5 years’ experience in private practice with an established law firm or relevant in-house experience with a financial institution (ideally senior associate level)
- Proficient experience in structured finance transactions
- In-depth understanding of the European Prospectus Regulation and public offer regime
- Experience in listing debt products on regulated exchanges
- Experience in advising on Irish and EU financial services laws.
- Experience in establishing structures under Ireland’s Section 110 regime
- Knowledge of MiFID II would be a plus, but not essential
- Must be able to function effectively in a busy, remote based environment.
