Key Activities
- Provide the workflow to the HGV, LCV, and Bike Used and Forecast editors for Specialist Valuations received to the Specialist Valuation email inbox.
- Manages the production of research data analysis and Pricing Minutes used by the LCV editors.
- Manages the documentation of decisions made during monthly pricing meetings in Pricing Minutes for updates to the LCV database.
- Responsibility for audits of the monthly valuation movements in line with expectations.
- Collates and distributes monthly LCV audit reports.
- Provides database support for the inclusion and removal of vehicles as appropriate.
- Control & manage the production build of products within the commercial vehicle (LCV and HGV) databases (Current Values & Future Values).
- Collates and posts LCV and HGV team editorial overviews to web locations.
Key Outcomes:
- Efficient return of Specialist Valuations to Helpdesk.
- Comprehensive records of LCV pricing activity maintained.
- Produce accurate and timely updates to valuation products.
- Products are reviewed regularly to ensure they are fit for purpose.
- Editorials are published in a timely manner.
Accountabilities:
SV workflow
- Specialist Valuation from SV email address via Helpdesk
Vehicle Pricing
- Provide detailed documentation for the editors to make vehicle pricing movements at the monthly meetings.
- Audit vehicle movements to ensure they are in-line with documented decisions.
Database
- Support the Current Value Editors with database updating for regular age identifier inclusion into the current value products.
Production Deadline Process
- Ensure that the monthly production process is carried out within the time parameters set.
- Complete production documentation and provide feedback to the Editors & Forecast Managers of any areas of concern.
- Ensure Editorial Overviews are published on time.
Qualifications/Experience
Essential
- Reasonable understanding and interest in the UK Motor Industry and the used vehicle market.
- Works well in a team when needed, providing support to senior team members, whilst also being to manage own workload working in isolation.
- Ability to work at a detailed level and retain and communicate pertinent information.
- Excellent communication skills.
- Good Microsoft Office skills, in particular with Excel, including building and using pivot tables, and look up tools.
- Ability to interpret complex, high volume data sets.
