Brockholes Nature Reserve, one of the UK’s most distinctive venue locations, is actively seeking a dedicated Wedding, Conference, and Sales Manager. This role is pivotal in our team, offering a unique opportunity to lead sales primarily in weddings and conferences, constituting 80% of the role. In addition, 20% of your responsibilities will involve creatively designing and managing a diverse array of nature-oriented events, children's activities, and innovative programs. These initiatives are critical in attracting new visitors and generating essential income for our charity.

Key Responsibilities:

- Sales Leadership (80%):Drive sales for weddings, celebrations, and conferences at our flagship floating venue at Brockholes, and our additional sites at Moss Bank Park and Mere Sands Wood. Significantly increase wedding bookings, nurturing relationships with new and existing clients.

- Event Creation and Management (20%): Develop and execute a variety of events including:

- Family and Children Activities: Self lead trails, family felting workshops, Father Christmas grotto events,.

- Artisan and Craft Events: Local artisan markets, craft fairs, maker workshops.

- Seasonal Festivities: Themed Halloween trails, Easter egg hunts, Christmas markets.

- Specialized Events: Summer fetes, food and drink festivals, outdoor theatre productions.

Support and Collaboration:

Lead a team including a wedding and events sales assistant, and collaborate with catering and operations managers. Utilise our extensive network of staff and volunteers. Regular travel between sites is required (mileage expenses covered).

Flexibility and Availability:

Flexible work arrangement, including various office and hot desk locations between Brockholes, Bamber Bridge, Rufford and Bolton and home when appropriate. Availability during weekends, holidays, and peak wedding season is essential for show arounds and big events.
