Chef Works Europe Ltd. is looking for a self-motivated, highly-organised Business Development Executive who will be 100% outbound focused in this exciting new business role focused on specific regions/sectors in the UK and Ireland. Researching and cold-calling predetermined prospects to sell our uniforms and book field-based appointments for larger customers who require a face-to-face meeting. Works with: In partnership with field-based Regional Business Development Managers. A TYPICAL WEEK as a BUSINESS DEVELOPMENT EXECUTIVE
- Research and contact prospects and where needed, gain appointments for our field-based team.
- Sell Chef Works, Bragard and third-party uniform directly to customers where an in-person appointment isn’t required.
- Update your account on our CRM with new prospects to build data and maximise opportunity.
- Liaise with internal stakeholders including Customer Support and Marketing whilst supporting the field-based teams to drive business growth goals.
- Effective use of the sales process to sell on brand/quality/value and encourage repeat uniform business.
- Achieve substantial daily dials (approx. 24 per day), new social media connections (at least 10 daily) and talk time of approx. 3 hours per day.
- Communicating and building rapport with customers through effective listening.
- Achieve monthly revenue targets set by National Business Development Manager.
- Attend remote or in-person team meetings, conferences, awards and training days on occasion when requested by senior management.
- Display excellent Chef Works, Bragard and third-party product/service knowledge to demonstrate the ability to deliver this information over the telephone or in a presentation format when required.
- Proven experience of success in a high-volume telephone sales/service environment.
- Demonstrate the ability to self-motivate and work autonomously as well as within a team.
- Evidence that you can achieve targets and close deals.
- Ability to create positive and memorable first impressions over the telephone, creating the right environment of trust and empathy to build a strong customer relationship.
- Understand and utilise a sales process with effective questioning.
- Show resilience and tenacity to get passed the toughest of gatekeepers.
- Excellent organisational and planning skills.
- Ability to manage and prioritise multiple business relationships/projects.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- Driven to achieve personal and team objectives whilst demonstrating the Chef Works culture.
- Numerate – able to pull together accurate quotes.
- PC literate – Microsoft Office and CRM system experience.
