Job Title: Maintenance Engineer (Electrical Bias)
About the Role We are currently recruiting for a Maintenance Engineer with an Electrical Bias for one of our valued clients. This is a fantastic opportunity for an experienced professional with a background in facilities maintenance, looking to take on a new challenge. If you have a keen eye for detail, are well-versed in electrical systems, and have experience with facilities maintenance tasks such as Legionella testing and fire alarm inspections, this could be the perfect role for you.
Conduct routine maintenance and repairs on electrical systems, fixtures, and equipment.
Perform scheduled testing and inspections, including fire alarms, emergency lighting, and other safety systems.
Carry out Legionella testing and ensure compliance with water hygiene standards.
Diagnose and resolve electrical faults, ensuring minimal disruption to operations.
Coordinate with contractors and suppliers for specialized maintenance work when required.
Handle general facilities maintenance, including HVAC systems, plumbing, and lighting.
Proven experience as a Maintenance Engineer with a strong electrical background.
Experience in facilities maintenance, including fire alarm testing, emergency lighting checks, and Legionella control.
Relevant electrical qualifications (e.g., 18th Edition, NVQ Level 3 in Electrical Installation, or equivalent).
