IP Transactions Paralegal – Leading European Patent & Trademark Giant 📍 London (Hybrid Working)💼 Permanent or 12-Month Fixed Term Contract 💰 £36,000 for future trainees / £36,000–£43,000 depending on experience Our client, a European Patent & Trademark powerhouse, is seeking an IP Transactions Paralegal to join their high-performing London team. This is a fantastic opportunity to be part of one of Europe’s most respected names in intellectual property, advising some of the world’s most innovative and successful companies. This role is ideal for either: A future trainee solicitor looking to gain valuable experience in a market-leading IP environment before commencing a training contract, or A career paralegal with existing experience in intellectual property, legal transactions, or records management who is looking for a permanent move with excellent progression prospects. The Role As an IP Transactions Paralegal, you’ll play a key part in supporting complex IP recordals, ownership changes, and commercial transactions across the UK, EU, and globally. Working alongside leading IP specialists, you’ll: Prepare and file recordal applications at the UKIPO, EUIPO, and EPO. Coordinate with local attorneys worldwide to update ownership or register rights. Review chains of title and draft assignment and consent documentation. Support IP licensing, due diligence, and restoration matters. Manage deadlines, maintain accurate records, and ensure all filings are completed efficiently. This is a hands-on, varied role offering exposure to international IP law and the commercial side of intellectual property. About You You’ll be someone who enjoys working with precision and takes pride in delivering accurate, high-quality work. The ideal candidate will: Hold a degree (Law preferred but not essential) or have relevant IP or paralegal experience. Have a genuine interest in intellectual property and innovation. Be organised, proactive, and able to manage multiple tasks and deadlines. Communicate clearly and professionally with clients and colleagues. Have solid IT skills (Word, Excel, Adobe, and database systems).
