As a Marketing Consultant in our Member Marketing Communications team, you will play a key role in the end-to-end creation and delivery of our member communications. This includes understanding our target audience, channel mix, working with our creative agencies and developing and managing the creative execution and member journeys. You’ll work alongside our fantastic Planning team, Analytics, Database Marketing, Creative agencies and Content Editors to make this happen. If you are experienced in direct marketing, passionate and creative with strong commercial acumen, then we want to hear from you.

You’ll have contracted hours, but we’re always happy to support flexible working wherever we can. You’ll be working in a team that has accountability for the end-to-end delivery of member marketing communications that deliver against our Society KPIs.
You will need to interpret and respond to briefs, understanding which channel mix is right and develop compelling and strong creative communications. You will need to be able to manage the creative briefing process with our agencies as well as working with internal stakeholders such as our Planning team, Financial Promotions team, Product teams and our Brand team to deliver communications that engage our members, meet the brief, and deliver against our Financial Promotions framework.
You will need to be able to understand customer insight, helping to deliver against our personalisation strategy, making our communications relevant and timely for our customers. actively encourage a test & learn culture, looking at ways to continually improve our communications, be that email subject line testing, A/B creative tests, targeting tests or propositional testing.

You will be part of our Marketing community, but you’ll work with other teams too, including those who run our website, design our products and services, analyse our data, manage our suppliers and look after our members.
Experience working across the end-to-end delivery of member/customer communications with strong experience of working with creative agencies.
Experience of campaign management of complex high-profile projects, leading project teams.
Experience of direct marketing channel communications, best practice, and their place within the marketing mix
A good communicator and influencer, confident at both writing and presenting, experience in creating engaging communications that capture an audience.
Excellent planning and organisational skills and ability to manage and own multiple competing priorities and deliverables.
Experience working within a marketing or direct marketing environment.
Financial Sector experience is desirable but not essential.
