Mon to Fri, 8am to 5pm or 8.30am to 5.30pmCATEGORY ACCOUNT MANAGER Key aspects of the Category Account Manager role include: Work across depots, departments, functions, teams, categories and a wide variety of customer channels (retail, foodservice and wholesale), own brand and branded. Deliver implementation of category management and reporting to support strategic direction of the business in partnership with key customers. Leading customer category range reviews in collaboration with commercial objectives to enhance market penetration and share as well as margin delivery. Fully understand our sub-categories in terms of market size, competitors, growth and trends. Pro-actively seek customer and consumer feedback on our products.THE IDEAL CANDIDATE The ideal candidate will have a similar background as a Category Account Manager ideally from within the food industry. Other key skills will include: Have an exceptional understanding of food trends, food ingredients and range planning. FMCG ready to eat and or ready to cook category experience in a retail environment. Identifying and bringing to market commercially profitable, consumer insight led opportunities Undertaking regular range reviews with retailers.
