We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Cloud Engineer to implement a new global network for one of our clients based on SASE technologies. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in both traditional networking technologies, Cloud networking, and modern SASE solutions, as well as experience with leading security products. Responsibilities: Have broad responsibilities to engineer and secure core Azure platform services across the global footprint. Strong Cloud Network engineering, adopting Zero Trust Architecture principles. Engineer and administer Next-Gen CASB solutions to gain visibility and control over Cloud applications/data. Advance branch SD-WAN solutions to optimise network performance and connectivity for remote locations. Experience with a global SASE network infrastructure that integrates with existing traditional network components (LAN, WAN). Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including security, operations, and application teams, to ensure the SASE architecture aligns with business needs and IT strategies. Develop and maintain network design documents, including topology diagrams, network segmentation plans, and security policies. Configure and deploy SASE components, such as SD-WAN, Cloud Access Security Brokers (CASB), Zero Trust Network Access (ZTNA), and Firewall-as-a-Service (FWaaS). Experience of working within an Azure Environment and infrastructure such as Python/PowerShell, Ansible, Terraform, Azure DevOps CI/CD and Kubernetes Improve operational processes and build monitoring that alerts on symptoms rather than outages. Establish and maintain network performance monitoring, troubleshooting, and optimisation processes to ensure high availability and quality of service. Skills and Qualifications: Strong knowledge of Windows server, virtualisation, containerisation technologies on Azure. A strong passion for Network Security and continual learning and development. Keen interest in open-source development and continual learning in Azure technologies. Strong knowledge of Azure Cloud platform and associated networking services. Knowledge of network security best practices, including Zero Trust, least-privilege access, and micro-segmentation. Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills, with the ability to diagnose and resolve complex network issues. Strong project management and communication skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively with diverse stakeholders. Relevant professional certifications, such as CCNP, CCIE, SASE Certified Architect
