We are currently looking to support our client based in Winsford with a requirement for a Multi-Skilled Engineer. This will be on a permanent staff basis with a competitive annual salary plus attractive company benefits - further details are included below.

The role operates on an 8 day shift pattern basis - working 4 days on and 4 days off. The first 2 days working will be worked as day shifts from 7am to 7pm, and the second 2 days will be night shifts 7pm to 7am. 42hr per week total over a 4-day rota (2x 12hr days, 2x 12hr nights) followed by 4 days off. This rota includes weekends and Bank Holidays.

The client works within the packaging manufacturing sector so the candidate will be providing preventative maintenance service to the onsite machinery. Multi-Skilled Engineer
We are a leading global manufacturer, creating high performance and technically engineered packaging solutions. At our Cheshire site, we produce polythene film for a range of established customers across multiple industries including agricultural, industrial, and food based.

We are recruiting for a Multi-Skilled Shift Engineer to join our Engineering department. Working as part of a team, the successful candidate will provide breakdown and maintenance cover on a varied range of plastic film producing machinery and ancillary support equipment.
The successful candidate will work on a 4 on, 4 off shift rota working 2 days, 7am till 7pm, followed by 2 nights, 7pm till 7am. Multi-Skilled Engineer- Key responsibilities include:
To respond to machine faults across site, as directed by the Engineering Cell Managers / Production Cell Manager / Extrusion Cell Leader
To complete Planned Preventative Maintenance as directed by Engineering Management.
To complete breakdown and maintenance records for all work undertaken on site.
To interact with onsite Engineering stores personnel, to include but not be restricted to, booking parts out of stores, assisting in sourcing alternative parts where the original is not available, returning unused parts to stores.
To take part in meetings, supervision, training as requested.
A keen interest and understanding of engineering principles.
Experience in the use of Microsoft Office.

Multi-Skilled Engineer - Skills and Experience
A recognised Engineering apprenticeship to ONC/HNC or equivalent Engineering qualification.
Working knowledge of electrical controls (PLCs, Contractors, Relays, VSDs, etc.)
Experience of engineering systems to include planned preventative maintenance.
