AlixPartners’ Capital Advisory team is part of the global Corporate Finance group (covering both M&A and Capital & Debt Advisory). The team provides advice to a broad range of listed, privately owned and private equity backed clients on debt raisings, refinancings, amendments and other capital related matters, both in the UK and globally. The successful candidate will also provide debt-related input to M&A and restructuring assignments.
The SVP will be responsible for leading aspects of projects, providing client advice as part of the team, mentoring and developing more junior members of staff, and being proactive around client coverage and business development.
Maintaining and developing strong corporate, private equity and lender relationships.
Management of the maintenance of loan and bond databases, preparation of pitch books and other general marketing presentations, and tracking general market trends.
Working with other senior colleagues on the development and implementation of strategic plans.
Providing consistently high standards of work in a timely manner and ensuring compliance with all internal rules (including risk and compliance) and external regulatory requirements.
Playing a key role in the management of the team including resourcing, recruitment and career development.
Bachelor’s degree and/or ACA/ACCA/CFA.
Excellent knowledge of credit analysis, structuring and financing products.
Significant experience within both corporate and private equity deals.
Sound understanding of, and ability to analyse, key financial statements.
Excellent financial modelling skills in Excel with a good foundation of building (and working with) debt financing models.
Sound credit analysis and analytical skills.
Able to manage a portfolio of projects.
Focused on achieving success in individual and team projects.
Excellent written and verbal communication skills in English. Other European languages would be useful.
Willingness to work outside of normal business hours, and in particular as unique projects/needs arise.
Ability to work full time in an office and remote environment.
