Salary: £40K - £50K + car allowance + bonus

Our client are a leading European freight forwarder who are looking to continue to build their UK presence and as a result are looking to appoint an experienced Sales Manager.

Responsibilities:

Seek, develop and secure new opportunities
Plan personal sales activity effectively with regular contact via telephone, email and face to face communication.
Establish and plan key accounts.
Actively promoting the brand and always provide exceptional customer service.
Self-generate appointments to maximise revenue.
Provide advice and guidance to resolve queries and objections and ensure follow up and resolutions are delivered.
Communicate effectively with customers and provide solutions to their issues.
Maintain a positive attitude and be a team player
Manage new accounts in your business base, ideally with the aim of becoming the sole supplier.

Requirements:

European Road Freight experience essential
Knowledge of Import and Export procedures
Experience in negotiating rates with clients
Strong commercials skills and business acumen are necessary as is the ability to identify and maximise opportunities
Ability to work under pressure and to deadlines
To be a self starter and hit the ground runningProcessing Your Data
