Operational Management: Oversee all business heads of Sales & Marketing, Finance, Operations, and IT. You do not need to be a subject matter expert you must have helped a business to deliver on its profit targets so knowledge of sales management in particular will be useful.Own the P&L and ensure high-quality management information for decision-making.Drive performance management and intervene early to keep the business on track.Coach and mentor key individuals, ensuring long-term competency and motivation.Recognise and reward great performance, maintaining a positive work environment.Implement staff engagement surveys and act on findings. Prior COO/General Manager/Managing Director experience in a similar-sized business or operating unit of a larger organisation. If you have worked in the tech or software industry this would be a bonus but industry experience is not a key factor. We would like to see demonstrable career growth, positioning this role as a natural next step. Highly numerate and financially astute, with a passion for data and management information.Strong prioritisation skills, separating the important from the urgent.
