Multi-Skilled Engineer (Electrical Bias)

Shift: Rotating Days and Nights 4 on 4 off - 12-hour shifts

This is an exciting opportunity for a Multi-Skilled Engineer to join a growing business based in Cambridgeshire at their new state-of-the-art chilled food facility

The site is on a journey to increase automation in our Production, and as part of the Engineering Team, you will play a key role in this transition being a success

They are looking for a Multi-Skilled Engineer with strong electrical knowledge and experience to join our established Engineering Team. You will be experienced in working on various equipment including conveyors, heat sealers, netting and flow wrapping machines, coding and labelling machines.

You will be working closely with the Production Teams to pass on knowledge and collaborate to increase efficiency of machines and allow Technical/Machine Operators to contribute actively to the performance of our lines, and reduce downtime.

You will have previous experience as a Maintenance/ Multi-skilled Engineer in a high volume, fast-moving environment ( Production or manufacturing background) and Formal Electrical qualifications in Engineering, i.e NVQ Level 3, Engineering Apprentice or Food and Drink Apprenticeship Standard

If you have experience working with British Retail Consortium (BRC) standards about Hygiene and Cleanliness standards would be advantageous but not essential
