Salary: c£48k( including Shift Allowance) 2/3 shift pattern (Days and Nights) No nights on weekends

Role Overview: To work as part of the Engineering Maintenance team as a Multi-Skilled Engineer

Key Responsibilities:

Our client is an industry leading manufacturing company, searching for a talented Multi-skilled Shift engineer with several years' experience within FMCG / industrial automated environments to join their team on a full time, permanent basis. There is a large amount of capital investment going into the site including working the opportunity to work on newly commissioned production lines both planned and reactive maintenance.

They are a positive and well organised team and want someone who is looking to develop their skill set, is a self-starter and manage their own time and own responsibilities.

The Candidate:

The successful candidate should have experience working within an automated manufacturing plant and should be familiar with all industrial mechanical and electrical duties and equipment including hydraulics, pneumatics, conveyor systems, chains, motors, control systems, compressors, and various other machine tools and production equipment

Essential Requirements:

Experience working as a maintenance engineer on an automated manufacturing plant

Ability to contribute to the maintenance team and input your own ideas

Time-served Mechanical/Electrical apprenticeship or recognised Level 3 qualification in Mechanical/Electrical Engineering (must be a NVQ, BTEC, HND, HNC or ONC)

Proven ability to manage your own PPM schedule, handle continuous improvement projects independently and oversee site breakdowns
