Gilberts (Blackpool) Limited is offering an exciting permanent full-time position for a skilled Toolmaker to join our Works Engineering Department.
Gilberts (Blackpool) Limited specialises in designing and manufacturing Grilles, Diffusers, Louvres, Smoke/Fire Dampers, and Natural Ventilation Systems for the HVAC industry. With over 60 years of industry expertise, we have grown from humble beginnings to become one of the UK's leading manufacturers of Commercial Air Distribution products.
Your expertise will be vital in providing engineering support to various departments, ensuring seamless operations across the board. You'll collaborate closely with supervisors to address maintenance issues and adhere to work schedules, demonstrating flexibility and initiative when necessary.
You will work Monday to Thursday 8:00am – 5:00pm (30 mins unpaid lunch) and Friday 08:00am – 1:00pm.
Forklift truck and crane license desirable
Full UK driving licence
Provide engineering support to production and press shop departments
Assist in various areas of the Works Engineering department
Collaborate with supervisors on maintenance and work schedules
Maintain flexibility with working hours to accommodate project demands
