Nursery and Children’s Centre Manager

Job Description Nursery Centre Directors at The Learning Experience have ultimate responsibility for the operation of the setting, including the growth and development of both children and teachers. They create an environment of collaboration and community, encouraging everyone to thrive.
Model outstanding care that helps children to develop and meets their individual needs.
Ensure that the team are providing rich learning environments that are stimulating and inspiring for the children both indoors and outdoors.
Include continued professional development opportunities for the team; and monitor the impacts of any training.
level 3 - promote the Health, Safety and Welfare of children, employees and families in line with The Learning Experience's Child Protection and Health and Safety policies.
Ensure policies and procedures are adhered to whilst also meeting the external legislation and guidelines from the governing body of the country where the nursery is located.
including supporting children to manage their own feelings and behaviours.
Support, coach and mentor new employees with their individual induction plan.
Work collaboratively and in partnership with colleagues, parents and / or care givers to meet the individual needs of children.
and new perspectives in order to support retention, reduce attrition and grow the occupancy levels at the nursery.
Attend training sessions, for both mandatory requirements and continuous professional development.
Strong Management experience within Early Years
Centre Management experience of large nursery settings
Full and relevant Level 3 and or above(equivalent) Childcare qualification Current Pediatric First Aid.
Level 2 (or equivalent) qualification in Team Leadership Level 3 Food Hygiene (or equivalent)
Specific experience of working with 0-2 year age range Experience of working and supporting children and families with additional needs Designated Safeguarding Lead Previous managerial experience.
Ability to be flexible, adaptable and embrace new ways of doing things. Child Protection Ability to identify issues prior to escalation Competent user of ICT systems and willingness to learn and develop.
Sound understanding of the Early Years Foundation Stage Knowledge and understanding of Safeguarding and Child Protection Knowledge and understanding of wider legislative requirements for working with children.
