An established setting close to West Byfleet, Surrey is seeking an experienced Nursery Room Leader to join their friendly team.

As a Nursery Room Leader you will support the provision of the highest standard of care and education for the children, and effectively manage daily operations of the room, including building partnerships with parents and care givers. It’s a large setting with a fantastic outdoor play space, a dedicated baby garden, an indoor soft play room and is close to local shops, the train station and local bus routes.

Support and cater for the all-around daily needs of children, including their physical, intellectual, social and emotional development
Promote positive relationships with parents and carers and encourage their involvement in the nursery, and ensure the safety and wellbeing of every child, parent, visitor and colleagues at all times
Assist in embedding an effective key person approach to enable children to form secure attachments and identify training or development needs for staff
Assist in regular team meetings to ensure staff understand and are aligned to nursery priorities, and regularly revisit training and policies.
Support a culture of self-evaluation and reflective practice throughout the nursery
The Nursery Room Leader ensures the highest levels of cleanliness and hygiene in the nurseryKnowledge, Skills and Abilities:

Minimum Level 3 qualification in a relevant and recognised Childcare qualification
Previous experience of working in an Early Years setting in a supervisory capacity
Knowledge of the statutory framework for the EYFS and regulatory requirements
