THE FIRM

Our client, a prominent investment group focused on renewable energies, boasts an impressive portfolio of solar PV and battery storage projects. They are expanding into additional European markets and diversifying their asset base. To support this growth, they are looking for a dynamic Director to join their London office.

THE ROLE

  • The Director will lead the origination, structuring, and execution of Renewable Energies Financings across the capital structure
  • Leading negotiations with banks, institutional investors and infrastructure debt funds
  • Coordinating and liaising with all involved internal and external due diligence parties across different jurisdictions
  • Coordinating the development of complex cashflow based financial models and performing debt sizing where needed
  • Support origination efforts within the team

THE CANDIDATE

  • The role requires a dynamic and determined professional with in-depth knowledge of the Energy & Infrastructure sectors
  • A minimum of 12 years of experience successfully originating, developing, closing and monitoring project finance opportunities
  • Strong understanding of debt and equity transaction processes with focus on execution/negotiations as well as financing strategy, ideally incl. bond placement process
  • Strong debt structuring capabilities and strong understanding of respective project finance financial models and different debt sizing approaches
  • Specific experience in renewable energies and energy transition is preferred
  • Experience managing and mentoring junior team members
