Your new role

As a Director in the Structuring Team at Demica, you will play a critical role within the organisation. You will work closely with several internal teams at Demica (such as commercial, distribution and operations) as well as numerous external contacts with corporates, investments banks, funds, law firms and other advisors. Providing high quality end-to-end transactions structuring services and analysis to clients and Demica teams.

What you’ll do

  • Provide advice to the Origination team to enable them to make offers to clients that can be delivered in a timely fashion with a high level of quality;
  • Support origination effort, review offers from the Origination teams and provide clear oral or written opinion to them and Senior Management;
  • Review models, internal and external discussion papers, placement teasers, investor decks, transaction documentation
  • Lead on an autonomous basis the execution of transactions in connection with the Origination team, the Client Implementation team and Senior Management;
  • Maximize revenues for Demica by identifying profitable transaction opportunities;
  • Maximise client satisfaction through timely delivery of above services both with clients and internally; and the provision of quality of advice.
  • Take part to a total compliance culture;
  • Contribute to a positive work environment;
  • Work with the Head of Structuring & Execution on ad hoc projects
  • Generate transaction opportunities in coordination with the Origination team;
  • Share structuring knowledge among the other Demica teams and specifically the Origination team.

Who you are

  • 7-10 years’ experience in trade receivables finance (securitisation, factoring) or structured finance;
  • Experience in financial modelling and reviewing & negotiating contracts and other commercial agreements.
  • Evidence of working in a fast-paced, results-orientated environment;

You will be a great fit for the role if, in addition to the above, you have:

  • Bachelor’s degree, preferably in engineering, finance or business administration;
  • ACCA or FCA qualification
  • Advisory experience.
  • Fluency in second language.
