About Our Client

My client is a reputable and client-focused accountancy firm located in the heart of the City of London. They are continuing to expand and are looking for a skilled Payroller to join our growing team.

Job Description

Key Responsibilities:

  • Efficiently manage payroll processing for clients using the STAR System.
  • Process and verify payroll data, ensuring accuracy and adherence to regulations.
  • Calculate and process adjustments, deductions, and other payroll-related items.
  • Respond to client inquiries and resolve payroll-related issues promptly.
  • Maintain organised payroll records and documentation.
  • Stay updated on changes in payroll legislation and compliance requirements.
The Successful Applicant

The successful candidate will have:

  • Previous experience as a Payroller, particularly with expertise in the STAR System.
  • Proficiency in payroll software and MS Excel.
  • Strong understanding of payroll regulations, tax codes, and compliance.
  • Excellent attention to detail and accuracy in data entry.
  • Effective communication and client service skills.
  • The ability to work independently and within a team.
