Reporting to the Engineering Director - the main purpose of the Commissioning Engineer role is the responsibility for the commissioning and overseeing the installation of equipment and systems to ensure they work safely and to clients needs.

Checking onsite system electrical installations and fault finding as necessary

* Calibrating and setting up electronic data acquisition, electrical and mechanical systems

* PID tuning of standard automotive control loops

* Working with development engineers to test bespoke control software

* Following commissioning steps and checks

* Producing commissioning time schedules

* Site based role mainly UK and overseas

I would be keen to receive your application if you are a Commissioning Engineer who holds the following experience and skills;

* Electrical understanding, with ability to understand and read electrical drawings and to diagnose issues

* Ideally hold a degree in engineering or an electrical qualification

* Understanding of software development is desirable

* Able to work away from home when required

* Hold a UK driving license

The role is a day shift Monday to Friday with some flexibility in working hours
