Job Description

JSS Search are pleased to be supporting a leading, trading, commodities and financial services bank with their search for a liquidity reporting accountant.

This is a well renowned team, known for high quality learning and development opportunities and great progression opportunities. This is a key role within the Regulatory Reporting team, with a focus on the calculation, analysis and reporting of the firm's funding, balance sheet and liquidity position for use by internal and external stakeholders.

Key strategic objectives are:

  • All key regulatory calculations performed in line with regulatory rulebook.
  • Delivery of regulatory information within the firm that is timely, accurate and relevant to the needs of business and management.
  • Completion of regulatory returns to the PRA and NFRA in line with requirements, supported by robust review processes.
  • Review and challenge of all key data attributes and processes that support the calculation and reporting of the firm's capital, liquidity and balance sheet position.
  • Close working relationship with departments across the Bank to support new business initiatives and regulatory developments.
  • Review and strengthen the control environment surrounding regulatory reporting requirements

Key Responsibilities

  • Day to day contribution to one Liquidity & Balance Sheet side of the Reporting team
  • Preparation of core NSFR, Asset Encumbrance and IRRBB calculations and associated daily MI reports, as well as assisting with regulatory liquidity
  • calculations and reporting
  • Responsibility for all prudential returns to the EBA and PRA covering NSFR, Asset Encumbrance and IRRBB, as well as assisting with liquidity
  • Support production of Annual Financial Statements, ICAAP, ILAAP and Pillar 3 documents through timely provision of information for the year-end reporting cycle
  • Support preparedness for new regulations through stakeholder involvement in projects and policy discussions

Key Requirements

  • Previous regulatory reporting experience with exposure to NSFR, LCR, PRA110 or ALMM.
  • The ability to operate in a controlled environment with specific policies and procedures in place.
  • Strong Communication Skills and the ability to work collaboratively.
