Regulatory Accounting Specialist - 6 months - £(Apply online only)/day

I am exclusively working with an established name within the Asset Management space to bring on an experienced Regulatory Reporting specialist. Due to an internal secondment, this role serves as a backfill into the BAU Group Regulatory team, where you will have end to end responsibility for the financial data under your management. While initially 6 months, there is strong potential for this contract to extend.

Due to the nature of the team and the business framework, banking experience will be particularly relevant in this context. This is a data-centric role, any experience with SQL or Tableau will also serve useful, though the key transferrable skills will come from banking capital and COREP experience.

Role:

Preparation of COREP reports for submission to regulatory authorities
Data reconciliation and quality checks to ensure data integrity
Liaising and collaboration with internal and external stakeholders
Maintain up to date understanding of regulatory requirements and reporting processes

Your experience:

ACA/ACCA qualified (ideal but not essential)
Regulatory reporting experience, either within banking or asset management (e.g. familiar with CRD IV, Basel III)
Confident with high-level data manipulation and management
Strong understanding of financial products, risk management and accounting principles
