As our new Lead Digital Portfolio Manager joining our Data and Analytics team you will, lead your team and a complex pool of stakeholders to deliver a portfolio of digital projects which will change the way millions of people interact with government, look for work and claim benefits.
You will lead in managing new work demand, advising and producing planning strategies and setting up new projects.
You will take a strategic view of new work, shaping our portfolio and working across the department and with service teams to prioritise projects, based on reliable assessment of the value that they will bring to DWP and our users.

Broad Portfolio Leader experience - Exceptional leadership skills with demonstratable experience of leading large-scale digital portfolios within a complex organisation, setting portfolio standards and providing independent portfolio assurance to senior executive leaders.
Strategic Planning - Proven experience of working with organisational objectives and ambitions to shape and influence Digital strategic planning and priorities.
Delivery knowledge and issue resolution - Experience of working in both waterfall and agile environments. Data Analysis and decision making - Experience of providing independent interpretation of portfolio data, to provide Executives and stakeholders with analytics and recommendations to aid strategic decision making.
Engagement, Relationships - Experience in building successful relationships across organisational boundaries with diverse senior stakeholders using strong leadership and communication skills to build, manage and influence key strategic relationships.
Location: You'll join us in one of our brilliant digital hubs in Birmingham, Blackpool, Leeds, London, Manchester, Newcastle-upon-Tyne or Sheffield, whichever is most convenient for you.
Hybrid Working: We work a hybrid model - you'll spend some time working at home and some time collaborating face to face in a hub.
Pay: We offer competitive pay of up to £72,664.
Pension: You'll get a brilliant civil service pension with employer contributions worth 28.Holidays: You can also take up to 3 extra days off a month on flexi-time. You'll also get all the usual public holidays.
