Regional Development Manager (Grounds Maintenance Sales Experience Required)
Join our esteemed client, a leading independent grounds maintenance provider dedicated to enriching outdoor environments, fostering environmental enhancements, and spearheading diverse growth endeavours across the UK. With over three decades of expertise in serving both public and private sectors, our client stands as a benchmark for delivering premium, award-winning services nationwide.
As the Regional Development Manager, you'll be at the forefront of securing additional projects and infill grounds maintenance contracts to surpass regional sales objectives. Your responsibilities will encompass nurturing relationships with existing and potential clients, crafting competitive pricing and proposals for timely submission within the region, and overseeing a spectrum of services, including Landscape construction, Grounds Maintenance, Arboriculture, winter gritting, and minor building and civils work (e.g., This dynamic role revolves around securing Extra Works projects ranging from £10k to £500k and GM infill contracts up to £200k per annum. Enhance the content and presentation of written proposals.
Maintain updated information in the CRM system.
Provide regular updates on opportunity progress to the business.
Participate in marketing events and contribute to content creation, including case studies and award nominations.

Operational experience in the Grounds Maintenance industry.
Strong commercial acumen.
Proficiency in building enduring relationships with clients and operations.
Ability to organically generate new business with new and existing customers.
Confident and articulate in all forms of communication, including face-to-face, telephone, and written.
Proficient in MS Office software.
Valid Driving Licence for daily travel to customer sites.
Business development and public sector bid experience.
