Due to recent contract awards and expansion, we are now seeking a highly experienced Site Manager to join our team.
This is an excellent opportunity to be part of a team working on a wide variety of top class, exciting projects.
Site Manager
- Fit-Out
- Key Roles & Responsibilities Supervising and overseeing the direction of the entire project to ensure it meets expectations and deadlines.
Be able to own and adjust the project program based on progress and critical path activities whilst communicating key project goals to the project team.
Reviewing progress against the contract program to identify any risks or slippage.
If progress is behind program to have the ability to hasten the works and simplify the approach, whilst not compromising on safety of quality.
Commercial review and assistance with QS team to help assess how spend is compared to the build budget.
Maintaining good daily records to assist QS with project valuations.
Maintaining good communication with all stakeholders involved in the project is critical, including that with clients, other contractors and members of the public.
Controlling access onto the project site and maintaining visitors logbook, inductions and safe site access at all times.
Health & Safety oversight will be a daily duty and coordination with the company H&S officer regarding prequalifying of sub-contractors and their documentation to ensure regulatory compliance.
Ability to review RA & MS and comment accordingly if amendments are required, prior to specific tasks commencing on site.
Ensure all resources are available to the project whilst ensuring a safe and timely execution of the works, by liaising with the project PM & QS.
Overseeing and maintaining a high standard of workmanship, whilst implementing the companies quality control system at all times.
Inspections of the works to ensure the highest of standards are met on a daily basis and compliant to relevant regulations.
Ensuring a safe workplace will be a priority over all else EXPERIENCE/ QUALIFICATIONS At least 5 years experience first hand at managing and supervising of various project types, up to a value of £2.5M.
