A global leader in facilities management is seeking a skilled Mobile Air Conditioning Engineer for their Lincolnshire team, working across a range of commercial and public sector clients. **Role Overview:** The Mobile AC Engineer will execute Planned Preventative Maintenance (PPM) as per specifications, documenting work in real-time. Responsibilities include updating CAFM systems, completing paperwork, and swiftly addressing plant faults. The engineer will proactively identify improvement areas and manage reactive tasks. **Key Responsibilities:**
  • Perform PPM tasks on schedule and document in real-time.
  • Complete and submit all paperwork for PPM, reactive, and breakdown work promptly.
  • Update CAFM systems with detailed work descriptions.
  • Identify and log plant failures, informing the line manager.
  • Ensure plant faults are fixed promptly to maintain operations.
  • Maintain adequate spare parts for maintenance tasks.
  • Conduct Point of Work Risk Assessments before starting tasks.
  • Follow Method Statements and Risk Assessments for safety.
  • Maintain a Safe and Healthy working environment, including PPE and uniform use.
  • Operate the Permit to Work System per technical and safety processes.
  • Engage in mandatory and skill-related training.
  • Foster positive relationships with staff, subcontractors, and clients.
  • Maintain a professional image and ensure plant rooms are clean.
  • Supervise subcontractors and ensure contractual compliance.
  • Respond to equipment breakdowns outside normal hours and participate in the on-call rota.
  • Conduct regular audits of vehicle/tools to ensure safety and functionality.
  • Perform additional tasks as directed by the contract manager.
**Qualifications and Experience:**
  • Recognised industry qualification and relevant experience required.
  • FGas certification essential.
  • Trade-qualified AC Engineer with post-apprenticeship experience preferred.
  • Full, clean driver's license required.
  • Awareness of Legionella and Asbestos (training provided if necessary).
  • Strong communication skills and ability to handle demanding client personnel.
  • Self-motivated, team player, and adaptable to change.
  • Physically fit and fluent in written and spoken English.
  • Availability for out-of-hours standby rota participation.
