The rapid growth of artificial intelligence is driving unprecedented global demand for compute and GPU infrastructure. Positioned at the heart of this transformation, Nscale is delivering the platforms that will enable the next decade of innovation.
Working closely with the world's most advanced AI technology providers, Nscale integrates next-generation compute hardware and GPU clusters across both partner and self-delivered facilities. This is a unique opportunity to join Nscale's journey, play a pivotal role in delivering transformative AI infrastructure, and help shape a company designed to scale rapidly across Europe and beyond.
The Role
We are seeking a highly organised and detail-oriented Document Controller on a permanent bqasis to manage project documentation on Nscale's hyperscale data centre developments.
You will be responsible for maintaining accurate document control systems, ensuring that all project information is current, correctly formatted, approved, and distributed to the right stakeholders at the right time.
This role requires a strong understanding of document management processes within complex construction or engineering environments. You'll play a critical role in supporting project delivery, maintaining version integrity, and upholding Nscale's standards for governance, accuracy, and compliance across all design and construction documentation.
Key Responsibilities
Document Control & Information Management
Establish, maintain, and manage document control systems for large-scale construction projects in accordance with Nscale's standards and procedures.
Ensure all project documentation — including design drawings, specifications, contracts, reports, and correspondence — is accurately logged, version-controlled, and traceable.
Review incoming and outgoing documents for accuracy, completeness, and correct formatting before release.
Manage document workflows, approvals, and distribution through designated document control platforms e.g. Procore
Governance, Quality & Compliance
Implement document control protocols that comply with Nscale's governance framework and regional regulatory requirements.
Monitor adherence to naming conventions, revision management, and transmittal procedures across all internal and external contributors.
Maintain up-to-date audit trails, ensuring traceability and accountability for all document submissions and approvals.
Support internal and external audits by providing complete, accurate document records as required.
Collaboration & Support
Work closely with Project and Design Managers, and Contractors to ensure information is exchanged efficiently and accurately.
Coordinate the flow of information between Nscale's internal teams and external stakeholders, including partners, contractors, and suppliers.
Provide document control training and support to project participants to maintain consistent standards and best practices.
Assist in preparing reports and dashboards summarising document status, approvals, and outstanding actions.
Systems, Tools & Continuous Improvement
Champion best practice in digital document management and data governance, supporting Nscale's technology-led approach to project delivery.
Regularly review and improve document control procedures, identifying opportunities for automation and efficiency.
Ensure all project documentation is archived correctly at project close-out for long-term retrieval and record retention.
