The purpose of the role is to : -

Contribute to the planning and development of the school’s support function and support staff.

Provide support, advice and guidance on administrative and finance issues to senior staff, the Governing Body and others.

Respond to enquiries, create and maintain databases, undertake financial transactions, ensure compliance with procedures and policies of the school.

The successful candidate will have:

An NVQ Level 3 Diploma in School Business Management or equivalent qualification together with good numeracy/literacy skills.

Significant experience in administrative and/or finance roles.

Ability to organise, lead and motivate other staff.

Ability to plan and develop systems.

Ability to relate well to children and adults.

Work constructively as part of a team, understanding school roles and responsibilities and your own position within these.
