We are working with a prominent Housing Association in Wiltshire who are recruiting for a Senior Income Officer on a permanent basis. This is a hybrid role, offering up to 4 days working from home and one day from their Head Office. They are looking to pay up to £36,225 per annum, and are ideally looking for someone with previous experience managing rent arrears within a social housing setting. Duties will include:

  • Monitoring and managing caseloads of current rent, service charge, council tax and asset accounts
  • Maintaining a proactive approach to recover and prevent rent arrears through the management of induvial rent arrears cases
  • Dealing with mid to high level rent arrears and making cases requiring escalation and/or legal actions
  • Providing advice to clients for rent arrears, welfare benefits, budgeting and liaising with colleagues, police, social services and other external agencies
  • Attending court when required, drafting and completing NOSP’s and NTQ’s
  • Chasing outstanding tenant arrears, monitoring rent accounts and former tenant arrears
  • Delivering debt and complex benefit advice to maximise customers income and tenancy sustainment

Working hours:
  • Monday to Friday, 9am – 5pm
  • 37 hours per week
